I value the opportunity to be a teacher of teachers. I am an educator, musician, and technologist. Currently, I work in faculty development and instructional design at the University of Central Arkansas, where I also teach in the College of Education. I have taught multimedia, business, technology, fine arts, and music courses at the high school level and am also very involved in K-12 online education. I am active as a speaker, trainer, and consultant, specializing in digital literacies, professional development, distance education, mobile learning, and music technology. I take a very practical approach in my presentations and workshops, packing them with valuable resources, accessible strategies, and instant takeaways.
My new book, Developing Digital Literacies (published by Corwin), describes a highly adaptable approach to teacher professional development that supports the infusion of digital literacies into classroom instruction. Read more here. Buy it from the publisher or from Amazon.
